Day 1 : Hanoi Arrival (--/--/--)

Arirving Noi Bai airport, you are met and transferred to hotel in Ha Noi by Trans Indochina Travel Tour guide . Overnight in Ha Noi.

Day 2: Hanoi - Mai Chau (B/--/--)

Having breakfast in hotel, the group will be visiting the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, House on stilts, the One Pillar Pagoda and the Temple of Literature. Then heading out of the town to Mai Chau, an idyllic valley populated by the many White Thai people. Overnight in Lac village of White Thai people in Mai Chau.

Day 3: Mai Chau - Son La  (B/--/--)

Having breakfast in house then start leaving Mai Chau, stopping in Xa Linh village for a two hour trekking. Travelling across the Moc Chau Plateau Overnight in Son La.

Day 4: Son La - Dien Bien  (B/--/--)

The group will have breakfast in hotel then start visiting Son La Museum - the provincial museum and the nearby old prison. Crossing over the Pha Din Pass before reaching Dien Bien Phu - the decisive battle in Franco - Vietnam War. Visiting Dien Bien Phu Museum, the old battle-field with old French tanks and artillery pieces. Overnight in Dien Bien.

Day 5: Dien Bien - Lai Chau  (B/--/--)

Breakfast then the group continue on to Lai Chau Town. Taking a two hour trip along the Da River, passing through the stunning mountain landscapes. Overnight in Lai Chau.

Day 6: Lai Chau - Muong Te - Lai Chau  (B/--/--)

Departing for Muong Te where is settled by many ethnic minority groups such as the Thai, Ha Nhi, Cong, Si La and La Hu - Vietnam's most colourful ethnic groups. Overnight in Lai Chau.

Day 7: Lai Chau - Sin Ho - Tam Duong  (B/--/--)

Transfer to Sin Ho which is home of the Red Hmong, Kho Mu, Mang and Dao people. Departing Sin Ho we make our way past the hilly region to Tam Duong. Overnight in Tam Duong.

Day 8: Tam Duong - Binh Lu - Sapa  (B/--/--)

Driving on bumpy road to many hill towns and villages to Sapa. Wandering around this charming town. Overnight in Sa Pa.

Day 9: Sa Pa  (B/--/--)

Visiting the bustling Sa Pa Market where the Red Dao, Black Hmong, Tay and Xa Pho going here to trade their goods and buy provisions. Overnight in Sa Pa.

Day 10: Sapa - Bat Xat - Lao Cai  (B/--/--)

Heading out of town to Bat Xat. Make a short walk passing through several villages which is populated by the Phu La, Dao and Giay people. We continue our trip to Lao Cai border town. Overnight in Lao Cai.

Day 11: Lao Cai - Muong Khuong - Bac Ha  (B/--/--)

Driving to Muong Khuong Town. In the early afternoon, we travel by roads to Bac Ha. After checking into hotel we can enjoy walk to visit the Hmong King's former residence and Ban Pho where villagers make the potent local alcohol. Overnight in Bac Ha.

Day 12: Bac Ha - Hoang Su Phi - Ha Giang  (B/--/--)

Upon leaving Bac Ha, going through Sin Man and Hoang Su Phi to Ha Giang Town. Along the way we may see the Nung, Tay, Red Dao, Dzao Ao Dai, La Chi people inhabit along the way. Overnight in Ha Giang.

Day 13: Ha giang - Sa Phin - Dong Van  (B/--/--)

Having breakfast in hotel then we head north west out of Ha Giang Town towards the North extreme of Vietnam. Visiting the former H'mong royal House at Sa Phin. Overnight in Dong Van.

Day 14: Dong Van - Meo Vac - Ha Giang  (B/--/--)

Visiting Dong Van Town before continuing to Meo Vac which is settled by the Lo Lo and Pu Peo peoples. Return to Ha Giang via Yen Minh. Overnight in Ha Giang.

Day 15: Ha Giang - Ba Be Lakes  (B/--/--)

Driving through the rolling hills and the picturesque scenery to Ba Be National Park. Arriving in Ba Be by late afternoon. Overnght in Cho Ra.

Day 16: Ba Be Lake  (B/--/--)

Embarking on a boat cruising down the Nang River which is the main water source of the lake. We traverse en route the Poong Grotto stopping at some nearby hill tribe villages and getting off the beaten track to the Dau Dang Waterfalls. Overnight in Ba Be guesthouse.

Day 17: Ba Be - Cao Bang  (B/--/--)

Transferring to Cao Bang Town. Along the way, we can made stops at our pleasure. The remainder of the day will be free to explore the town or simply to relax. Overnight in Cao Bang.

Day 18: Cao Bang - Pac Po Caves - Lang Son  (B/--/--)

Making our way north to the historical cave of Pac Po where Ho Chi Minh set up the headquarter for Vietnamese Revolution. Continue our journey to the towns of Dong Khe and That Khe. Arriving Lang Son by late afternoon. Overnight in Lang Son.

Day 19: Lang Son - Halong  (B/--/--)

Visiting the lively central market of Lang Son and the legendary Tam Thanh Cave then departing for Halong. On arrival in Halong we spend the remainder of the day for a rest. Overnight in Ha long city.

Day 20: Halong - Hanoi  (B/--/--)

Embarking on a boat exploring Halong Bay. Along the way we will anchor for a leisurely swim and an enjoyable visit to one of the many hidden grottoes. After a seafood lunch on board we return to the wharf and back to Hanoi. Overnight in Ha Noi.

Day 21: Departure  (B/--/--)

The group will have breakfast in hotel then being at leisure till transfer to Noi Bai Airport for departure. End of the tour.
