Day 1: Hanoi Arrival

Arrival at Noi Bai airport, welcomed by Trans Indochina travel tour guide and transfer to hotel in Hanoi for check in. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi City tour

After a breakfast in hotel the group will visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and the One Pillar Pagoda, continue to the Army Museum, nearby Flag Tower, the Fine Arts Museum and Temple of Literature. Visiting the Memorial of Chirstmas Bombing in Kham Thien street commemorate the bombing on 24 December 1972. Enjoying a cyclo trip around the Old Quarter. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 3: Hanoi - Flight to Hue

The group will have breakfast in hotel then transfer to airport for flight to Hue - the most beautiful city in Vietnam. In the afternoon, visit the citadel of the city and recall the battle of Hue during the Tet Offensive, when the NVA held the city for the three weeks. Overnight in Hue.

Day 4: Hue - Dong Ha

Drive up highway 1, passing Camp Evan and Fire Support Base Nancy; continue to the battle site of Quang Tri, site of Ai Tu Combat Base and airfield of the 3rd Division Headquarters of the former South army. Reaching Dong Ha enter the quadrilateral area bordered by Con Tien, Gio Linh, Dong Ha, and Cam Lo which was nicknamed Leatherneck Square during Operation Buffalo. Continue up Highway 1 across the Hien Luong Bridge over the Ben Hai River. Visit the tunnels in Vinh Moc and the Con Thien Fire Support Base. Overnight in Dong Ha town.

Day 5: Dong Ha - Khe Sanh

Ride paralleled to the DMZ (Demilitarize Zone) along Route 9 to Khe Sanh. En route pass a series of Fire Support Bases the Rockpile, Da Krong Bridge, as well as the Huong Hoa District headquarters. Overnight in Khe Sanh townlet.

Day 6: Khe Sanh - A Luoi - Dong Ha

Continue on Route 9 to Lang Vei Special Forces Camp, visiting Lao Bao Border town. Remembering Operation Lam Son 719, where South Vietnamese soldiers surged in to attack the Liberation Front soldiers. Travel to A Luoi and visit the special Forces camp, Landing Zone Cunningham, Landing Zone Erskine and Landing Zone Razor, continue south to A Sau Valley and infamous Hamburger Hill. Return to Dong Ha this evening for overnight.

Day 7: Dong Ha - Hue

Back to Hue and free all day. Overnight in Hue.

Day 8: Hue - Da Nang

Leave Hue for Da Nang. Visiting Marble Mountain, Hai Van Pass. Visit the China beach where the US Mariners first came ashore, beginning major American involvement in Indochina. Overnight in Danang.

Day 9: Da Nang - Chu Lai - Qui Nhon

The group will have breakfast in hotel then visiting to Hoi An ancient town - UNESCO Heritage then continue to Chu Lai airbase and see the work of the Skyhawks visiting My Lai village. Travel to the rugged Animate mountains down to Route 1. Sarcastically referred to as "The street without joy" by French soldiers. Overnight in Quy Nhon.

Day 10: Qui Nhon - Nha Trang

Leaving Qui Nhon for Nha Trang, once the headquarters of the US Fifth Special Forces Group in the second Corps. Overnight in Nha Trang.

Day 11: Nha Trang - Da Lat

Having breakfast in hotel then the tour guide will take the group to do the boat trip to Bamboo Island for snorkeling, to the Mieu Island to visit a fish breeding farm and to the Ponagar Cham Tower, a fine example of 2nd century Cham architecture. Then, leave Nha Trang for the central highland city of Da Lat. Overnight in Dalat.

Day 12: Da Lat - Saigon

Visiting the Valley of Love, the central market, the Lake of Sighs. Travel through the central highlands to Bao Loc, visit silk farms and mulberry plantations. Arrive Saigon late evening.

Day 13: Saigon City tour

After the breakfast in hotel, the group will be transferred visiting the former Presidential Palace, former US Embassy, the Notre Dame Cathedral and the central market. In the afternoon visit War Remnates Museum, History Museum. China Town and Ben Thanh Market. Overnight in Saigon.

Day 14: Saigon - Iron Triangle - Cu Chi

Traveling on the National route 13 past the town of Phu Cuong, visiting the Phu Loi Base, through the Cau Dinh jungle, passing an area of the 503rd Airborne Brigade. At Ben Cat, see the site of the bases of the 173rd Airborne and the 11th Armored Cavalry. Arrive in Ben Suc, the Northern tip of the Iron Triangle. Visiting the restored tunnels at Cu Chi before returning to Saigon. Overnight in Saigon.

Day 15: Departure

At leisure till transfer to airport for departure. End of the tour.
